Tyger McSwain studied Philosophy and Political Science at UNC Chapel Hill before building a career in finance that has taken him from banking and asset management to over three years at BlackRock, and now to an MBA at the Wharton School and a Summer Associate role at Evercore. His path shows that your undergraduate major doesn't have to define your career — curiosity, leadership, and a willingness to keep learning can open doors across industries. As a former chapter president of Alpha Phi Alpha, Tyger also knows the value of community, and he brings that same people-first mindset to understanding what really drives financial markets.
